Trailin' horses are real good hunters! I have some who hunt deer. They don't like anything in "their" pasture either. They chase out everything. Make good guards for the sheep too.

That is a nice big coyote you have there, would make a nice rug!

Actually horses are great trackers. The sorrel in the picture is my favorite to ride. He tells me if we have company on the trails a mile before we hit it.....and if he says it is not friendly...we take another route...I have learned to listen to him...

My family had horses for years. You could always tell if someone or something was in the pasture. I remember a dog that chased a cat up a tree in the pasture. Soon the horses chased the dog out of the pasture.
