Tonight at 9:30 p.m. a couple driving on Bridge Street in Albany Co. saw a mountain lion cross the road in front of their car. It was raining earlier, the road was wet. They estimate the cat to weigh approximately 65-75 pounds. The cat was tawny in color and no spots. They commented on the slinky movement of the cat. They got a clear look at the size of the HUGE paws. They said the tail was very long, THICK and curved at the end. The coat of the cat was fluffy and healthy in appearance. The cat moved slowly, steadily and almost trained to cross the road Idea Idea . The cat entered the road coming from the beautiful white farm that sits on top of the hill. The cat crossed the road into a barnyard that is home to two very elderly horses.

I made some calls that got us to the owners of the horses. I suggested they go check on their horses, make some loud noises and bring bright lights to keep that cat moving away from their animals.

This area has so may repeated reports. There has been a range in size of the cats that are seen.

We have a tracking team assembled for the morning. Rain is in the forecast for the night, we may not find anything.

I will report any findings tomorrow.

Please tell your friends and neighbors living in this area..the cats are back on the move.

Be safe!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know the routine.
Watch your back side. If you get into an area with trees, watch the overhead tree limbs.
