Some great photo's from a friend who lives about 30 mins away. I actually hit a bobcat in this area several years ago. Sad It is a very residential, city area.

I've only seen one here on my own property (26 heavily wooded acres) so I'm a little jealous that others can walk out of their city apartment and see a family! But you're right about the camo...I barely caught a glimpse of the one on my land as it darted thru the woodline.

I would assume they are in this apartment residential area for one reason, food/garbage!

Actually, bobcats, well all cats, are very choosy as to what they will eat. Garbage is rarely on the menu.
Bobcats eat a lot of birds and mice and RABBITS. House cats sometimes too. Adult males can catch and kill deer also. So there is lots to eat in the urban/suburban areas.
