I put the camera back where I got the first pictures for a week and got 6 more shots over time. Here is the first.

Great pic, Bloodhound! How big do you think it was? I was wondering, are bobcat tracks similar to cougar?

We used to like to hike in the back areas of the state park here till we heard a bobcat or a cougar! Not sure what it was. Now that theres so many bears and you can't be armed in there we don't go in that area anymore.

The first picture in the other Bobthread, I measured the bush next to the cat. It was 20 inches tall.

The second picture wed.


AND THEN....

Pounce!!

Finally, I got this one on thursday two hours before I took the camera in.



Not a bad week's worth of pictures. There were no other pictures taken of animals the whole week. The only tracks I found were bobcat and rabbit. Bobcat tracks are usually 2 to 3 inches across and are of course "cat tracks" with no toenails showing and they are round not oval.
